Tempered glass in the ALP-86 system. This is the only Nobilex system where the glazing unit is assembled in three variants at once - energy-saving, acoustic, and burglar-resistant - and tempered glass is included in each of them. Strength doesn't come at the expense of warmth or quiet: it's added on top.
Profile: two thermal insulation options, ST and SI. Versions MB-86US with concealed sash and MB-86 Casement with outward opening. Frame depth 77 mm, sash - 86 or 77 mm. The system is designed for large and heavy structures.
Hardware: central two-component gasket for better sealing, glazing beads Standard, Prestige, Style. Compatible with various types of perimeter hardware, including concealed hinges.
Glazing unit: glazing thickness in the frame 13.5-61.5 mm, in the sash - 21-70.5 mm. Maximum sash dimensions: height up to 2800 mm, width up to 1700 mm.
Performance: thermal insulation Uw = 0.62-0.68 W/(m2*K), air permeability class 4 per EN 12207, watertightness class E4800 / E1500 / E1350, wind load resistance class C5 per PN-EN 12210. Traditional or concealed water drainage.
How to tell tempered glass apart: there is a manufacturer's mark etched in the corner of the pane. It doesn't wear off and is the only reliable confirmation of tempering.
