The presented roof window is part of the MB-SR50N system and is used in the manufacture of ventilation hatches.
Windows of this type are intended for installation on roofs with an angle of inclination from 5° to 75° in relation to the horizontal. The maximum width of the window is 1.80 m, the height is 2.05 m, and the maximum total area of the glass is 3.40 m2. The weight of the window is limited by the technical parameters of the used opening mechanisms and hinges and can be up to 150 kg. The design makes it possible to glaze using a double-glazed unit with a thickness of 24-32 mm.
The roof window is a modern design and has many advantages. Bearing aluminum profiles are made as three-chamber, insulated with thermal pads of the appropriate height, which provides them with adequate strength, thermal insulation and immobility. Their shapes and compact structure prevent the window from protruding above the roof surface. The masking bar on the outside is a roof for rainwater, and on the inside it is as close as possible to the glass to facilitate the outflow of water. The hinges are hidden inside the profiles, thanks to which they are not exposed to weather conditions, which significantly increases their useful life
The roof window is equipped with an efficient drainage and ventilation system connected to the MB-SR50N stud-transom wall system. To ensure high tightness against the penetration of rainwater, it uses the latest generation EPDM cellular sealing. On the inside, the window is equipped with a special aluminum groove for collecting water from the inner zone of the glass. The design of the MB-SR50N RW is adapted to the wide range of tensioners used on the market, and windows made from this system can, if necessary, function as ventilation openings
