A curtain wall system with an inward opening window with a frame that is not visible from the outside
Different opening elements can be used in the facades based on the rack and transom system: they can be windows with a visible frame that open inward or outward (MB-SR50 RT window), as well as windows that are “frameless” from the outside. based on the outward deflecting profiles of the MB-SG50 structural system
Functionality and aesthetics
The design is a novelty, in which the window opens inward, but from the outside it does not differ from a fixed double-glazed window. From the inside, we get the effect of lining the racks and transoms. The window is structurally glazed, the glass is glued to the sash profiles without the so-called “step”. The aesthetic qualities of the MB-SR50 IW are not the only advantage of this solution. It is also a high thermal insulation – the value of the coefficient of heat transfer through the frame Uf=1.82 W/m2K (for the standard version).
The design can be used in three versions: standard, with a flat bar and in the EFEKT type design.
