From September 13 to 15, in the village of Solomono, located in the Uzhhorod district, one of Ukraine’s brightest sports events took place – the “Carpathian Aquatics Cup.” This open championship in aquatic sports featured participants from countries within the Carpathian region. Over three hundred participants, both professional athletes and amateurs, took part in the festival. The event also attracted attention from “stars” of world swimming. A festival of this scale aims to popularize water sports not only in Transcarpathia but also across Ukraine as a whole.
